The 13th Annual International Conference on Industrial Engineering Theory, Applications & Practice
September 7- 10, 2008, Las Vegas, Nevada
The 13th Annual International Conference on Industrial Engineering Theory, Applications and Practice will be held September 7th through September 10th at the Platinum Hotel and Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Call for Contributed Papers
Interested Authors should submit a 350-word abstract in English by May 16, 2008 to IJIE Secretariat, at ijie@jfa-inc.com. Please include 3 to 6 keywords with your abstract to aid in the review process. All abstracts will be reviewed by the International Advisory Committee. Notification of acceptance of abstracts will be e-mailed by June 9, 2008. Full paper in electronic format will be due by July 9, 2008. The conference executive committee is listed below:

Conference Proceedings
All submitted articles will be published in the conference proceedings in CD-format, which will be available at the conference. The conference program with brief abstract for each article will be available before and at the conference. Revised and expanded version of selected papers presented at the conference will be considered for publication in the International Journal of Industrial Engineering- Theory, Applications and Practice, Journal of Industrial Engineering Design, and other journals.
Student Paper Award
Interested students are encouraged to submit their abstracts with a cover letter indicating their interests in the student paper award, letter from advisor/professor indicating contribution towards the research, and proof of student status (undergraduate or graduate) to a Conference Chair by June 9, 2008. Prizes will be given to the best three student papers.
